Harriette Thompson, a 92 year old resident of Charlotte, NC, made history yesterday as she ran and finished the Suja Rock ‘n Roll Marathon in San Diego. When I heard her story on the news last night all I could think was, “Wow!” I pray I just make it to 92, let alone be able to run a marathon. I can’t even run a marathon now and I’m only [cough].
I was also inspired because she is a living witness that you’re never too old, or too anything for that matter, to accomplish a goal or see a dream come true.
